Guests with Medical Needs
Our team is trained to provide for all of our guests’ medical needs such as giving oral medications, providing diabetics with insulin injections, and monitoring blood sugars. If a pet becomes ill during his or her stay, a doctor is on-call and available during regular business hours, weekends, and all holidays. We also have access to a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with emergency and board-certified veterinary clinicians to care for your pet in an emergency, with prior signed approval.
We provide some grooming services, such as baths, comb-outs, and shaving matted fur, so your pet returns home looking and smelling fresh. Other services available on request include nail trims, ear cleanings, and examinations with the veterinarian. Contact us in advance to discuss your pet’s special needs.
A wellness care plan should be in place for every boarder, for the protection of our guests and patients. All boarding guests must be current on vaccinations.
We are a flea-free facility; all pets found to have fleas receive a dosage of Capstar® to kill all fleas on the body within hours, so as not to contaminate their surroundings or infest those around them. If your pet will be due for his or her monthly parasite control, just let us know upon arrival; we can provide it when due and avoid interrupting parasite protection.
